Hello to all CASHOTA members. I look forward to activating CASHOTA locations which will give me a pleasant alternative to my current /P, /PM & /M activities. I also look forward to working members on air whether activating or chasing.

Unfortunately. It appears that I'm the only one posting or taking an interest in this forum and 'its like talking to yourself'. Therefore, I have decided that although I will continue as a forum member and visit from time to time as others do, I will not be posting on the forum, but will continue to place activation photographs in the albums of the main CASHOTA website after activations.

Hello Ian, I hope you are well. Do you have any idea where all the members are hiding? I enjoy chasing activations and I am hoping to activate some sites myself when I get more into Cashota. I am based in County Durham so I am close to many monuments and bunkers. Kind Regards, Barry G0SBU.

Hello Bazz, I was thinking the same as you. I am interested in joining and would like to activate a number of sites, just not sure about the amount of interest. I am in South Wales and also close to many sites, be interested to see what you think. Regards Tony

Hello Tony, Thank you for the reply. It is a shame there isn't a lot going on in these forums. I will keep my interest going though. It is fun and interesting chasing activations. May need to keep posting on the forum and see if we can stir some interest with other members. Hope to speak to you more on here. Best wishes Good Dxing Barry 73's

Hi Barry, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Unfortunately at the moment I have difficulties in arranging any regular schedules, I would however like to keep in touch with posts on here. Still not sure what interest there is in CASHOTA, would like to hear from members who activate sites to find out what they think. Looking at previous posts it would seem Ian had the same problem in getting any sort of response, it's a shame because he seems to have been very active. Hope to be in touch again soon, Regards Tony

Hello Tony, Not a problem, at times I get held up at work and miss out on other activities at home. I agree with you it is such a shame with Cashota, I always thought it was very active and always listened out for Chris when he was out and about, but things are very quiet. Ian seemed to do an awful lot of activations and I guess I missed out on it all. Lets hope things pick up a little. Take care see you further down the post. Regards Barry

Hi All, Does anyone know of a good website or book that lists the old ammunition dumps in and around the County Durham area. Any information would be welcomed. Many Thanks Barry
