Thursden Valley WW11 Pillbox G-483

This type type 24 pillbox variant is at Thursden , Briercliffe. Although not obvious in this image, set into the embankment at the side of the road, below, are 20 concrete cylinders (50cm in height and diameter) which appear to have belonged to a roadblock. You can just about make them out bottom left.
